Assess: Pirates of the Caribbean

1. Although I personally couldn't understand it, not speaking Mandarin Chinese, I absolutely adored the use of space and technology in order to achieve the effects seen.  Occasionally it would feel slightly out of sync, but that might have just been the riders beforehand. I thought it was really grand and the usage of animatronics went rather well, however I do wish there had been more practical effects used to really simulate the voyage, aside from simply the cannonball fire in the battle sequence. Say for example a small bit of mist whenever large waves appeared, but the attention to the non projected characters and scenes was fantastic. 2. Connection wise, I think it really spoke to my inner child, it got me excited and immersed inside the world of the ride, constantly waiting to see what would happen next. The special effects and usage of space really helped to cement the idea that we were only along for the journey. 3. A different medium that I could see this functioning

Literal World Building

As a first go around, I personally favor water worlds that are dotted with islands rather than large scale continents, I think it provides for a more distinct challenge and can be based in reality akin to the people of Oceania and the Pacific Islands. If we're speaking location wise, then I personally am fond of a moon or distinct asteroids within a planet's rings or orbit. Dina could show her ability to easily manipulate magic without the use of said wand and spell book, seeming far more proficient without them. Mayhaps a quick flick of the wrist to demonstrate something without consciously realizing the magic it requires. In terms of clothing, I would think of something simple yet with enough cutouts to show various tattoos embedded in her skin. Home wise, probably a simple hut and garden, buried under the overhang of a cliff. And once she looks East, something akin to a strong force of nature, say a tidal wave or severe lightening storm, she is inspired by the raw force of their power. Collecting south bound items would include items from her garden for failed attempts at spells such as herbs and crystals and occasionally the thorns off said herbs and potential sources of ink. As we turn westbound, judge
